All Grit, No Quit!

Quakertown Community High School started its wrestling program in 1958. While the program started off slowly with regard to its winning tradition, it currently has over 500 dual meet wins, numerous league titles and a two time PIAA State Dual qualifier.  In 2008, Quakertown added a District One Dual meet championship to its record!

Quakertown wrestling has excelled on the individual stage as well, with more

than 85 Sectional champions, 35 District Champions, 25 Regional

Champions, 62 State Qualifiers and 24 State Place Winners. Quakertown

also has had 3 State Champions!

A culture of winning does not start at the high school level. Quakertown Youth Wrestling Club has a long winning tradition, with great coaching that introduces the youth of Quakertown to the sport of wrestling. The middle and high school programs would not have the continued success without the hard work and dedication of the youth club coaches and parents.

Quakertown Community School District has long had a wrestling history at the middle school level as well. Just a few years ago Milford and Strayer middle schools were both undefeated, which lead to an epic championship meet that came down the last match. The following year Milford was closed and only one middle school, Strayer was left to compete. Subsequently Strayer continues to win middle school league championships!

The primary goal of our program is to better the young men and women of the Quakertown Community School District through hard work and dedication to the sport of wrestling. Wrestling is a difficult sport that balances physical and mental toughness, which can mimic many situations that occur in our everyday lives. Hopefully our team members can use these experiences to pursue college, a trade, military service or just to prepare for the rest of their lives!

This year our goal is simple: improve on the strong season that we had last year, be a better team than last year, be a better wrestler than yesterday and be a better person than yesterday!
